My blog focuses on improving and enhancing lives and on online business. Online business turns me on a lot because it can be carried out in many different ways from anywhere. You can start such a business with virtually no money and build it gradually step by step. My online business on Amazon has helped me quit my full-time job and live a far more interesting life. Over time, I have also added a blog to my business, as well as online courses that show how to publish books on Amazon. I became interested in online business and Amazon in 2015. I quickly began to release more products (e-books and paper books). Amazon is the largest online store in the world, and the opportunity to reach millions of customers through this platform sparked my attention. Unfortunately, in the beginning I mostly failed, but over time I learned how to do everything better and my products began to bring me first profits.
At the end of 2016, one of my books (I present it and my other products in a video on my YouTube channel — link below) became a bestseller in one of the categories. It was a remarkable success for me, and it showed me that I, as a person who speaks English at a level barely “sufficient” for watching movies and get into a simple conversation, was capable of publishing a well-selling book for the world market. The cost of publishing this book was about $200 for me. Over time, I published more books (mostly print-on-demand paperbacks) and as of today I have 550 products published through Kindle Direct Publishing.
What products do I have on Amazon and how much money do I make? (update as of 2019)
I have about 700 products on Amazon (as of mid-2019) and sell between 1,000 and 2,000 of these products on Amazon per month. These are mainly simple products in the form of notebooks and eBooks. This gives earnings of several thousand per month of fully passive income. In the best months such as November and December, sales reach several thousand copies which gives me an income of up to $2500 per month.
For some, it will not be a large sum of money, while for others, quite the opposite. You have to judge for yourself whether this is a lot. I’ll just add that I’ve had a steady passive income from Amazon for a long time and it doesn’t require me to do any work. Earning from Amazon didn’t make me a millionaire, but it allowed me to quit my full-time job as a restaurant manager and focus on creating a blog, which is my great passion. Thanks to Amazon, I became a free man and my life has changed beyond recognition.
At the beginning of 2018, I also launched my blog, which was first only available in Polish. It was quite an experiment, because it is a very personal blog that at the same time earns a lot of money. I did not expect so much success in this area. After six months, my blog began to earn its first money and after a year and a half it had earned more than $30,000. Earnings from the blog consist of income from the sale of online courses and from affiliations.
